I had a great idea for a fun Family Night. We got the kids in the car to go to the local thrift store. We each had to go in, pick out a funny looking shirt and then wear it to Iceberg to get shakes. The kids had so much fun picking out the perfect silly shirt.
Here are a few photos of our really fun night!
We told the kids that they would not get a shake if they did not wear their silly shirt into the diner.As we sat and ate ice cream and talked I looked around the table at these beautiful kids smiling and having a great time together. I am so happy at this stage of my life. Yes it is hard everyday to keep all these kids on track, but I would not change it for anything else.
We of course got the giggles and really could not stop laughing. It was contagious. Our cheeks hurt from laughing so hard. I love being a Mom and Jason and I love these kids. We could look at their laughing faces for hours. What more do you need in life than happy fun family memories.
I would bottle up this stage of our family if I could. We are having a blast together. Everyone of us enjoys being together. I am truly happier than I have ever been in my life and I think it shows through the kids!
