It's great to be 8

It is so hard to believe that our little Isaac is 8! What a great kid this guy is. Isaac was born in Arlington Virginia at the Arlington Hospital. Isaac was such a great baby. As a baby he slept, smiled and ate. He was so pleasant. Isaac has the best smile! He is always so happy.

Isaac loves to build and make things. He can make anything out of Lego's. He also has perfected the paper airplane. Isaac plays all day long. He comes in the house after school, drops his backpack and is off to play and run with friends. Isaac has such a great time in life. He makes friends easily and always is up for fun! He is the dirtiest kid ever, however. He plays out side and can get really filthy. It does not bother him a bit. We love that Isaac has so much fun. We love that Isaac is passionate. He is cuddly with me and LOVES to wrestle with Jason. He actually will wrestle with anyone.
Isaac is very cautious. He is cautious in the water and cautious on the ski slopes. He is however always up to try anything. Jason asked if he would shave his hair off and Isaac was up for it!
Being the 4th child Isaac is also teased a LOT! With 2 older brothers he is constantly getting picked on. This picture was taken after Zach pinned him down and drew all over his face with a brown marker.
This is Isaac being held upside down by Dylan over one of the glaciers at Yellowstone Park. The hot stinky steam was coming up into his face.
Isaac loves to be together as a family! He is so happy when we say we are going to do something together.

Isaac has always been a big kid. He has always measured with the doctors in the 90th percentile. At his 8 year old check up he was 97% for height and 92% for weight. This is Isaac and his best friend Zach Jones in Virginia at a swim meet last summer. They were born a week apart in the same year!
Isaac loves being a BIG brother. He is usually very helpful and sweet to his little sister Clara.
Isaac has played flag football (tackle will start this fall) soccer & swim team. He has even raced in a triathlon. He is a very active and competitive kid!

We love Isaac so much! We are so proud of what a great kid he is. Happy Birthday Ike!
